Flexpoint Today:
Flexpoint produces the Bend Sensor® for myriad applications, spanning multiple markets such as automotive and transportation, wearables, medical, industrial controls, consumer products, and toys/gaming. Operating primarily from a 8,000 sq ft. facility in West Jordan, Utah, just southwest of Salt Lake City, this location houses administrative and engineering staff, as well as manufacturing services. The company sells directly and through channels globally under agreements with a multitude of partners and distributors.
Flexpoint is excited about the emergence of the IoT (Internet of Things) and the IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) movements, especially as they relate to the markets we have served and the critical role sensor technologies play in delivering value in these applications. Flexpoint Announces On-time Delivery of Orders of Impact Detection Sensors to a leading manufacturer of Autonomous Vehicles.
West Jordan, UT / Newsfile/ October 6, 2022 / Flexpoint Sensor Systems, Inc. (OTC PINK:FLXT) is pleased to announce completion of deliveries under the second purchase order for an Impact Detection System. As previously announced Flexpoint has entered into an agreement with a leading US based manufacturer/OEM to provide an impact detection system for their autonomous vehicles in the United States. An autonomous vehicle is a driverless vehicle that is capable of sensing its environment and moving safely with little or no human input.
By strategically placing our flagship product, the Bend Sensor®, in key impact areas of the vehicle, we are able to play a vital role in the advancement of autonomous vehicles in the marketplace. Once production begins, purchase orders will begin escalating over the next several years.

BXS Battery Expansion Sensor

Flexpoint previously announced that we had engaged a sales representative in the Pacific Rim. Through our Pacific Rim Sales representative, we are currently providing development, technology and our Battery Expansion Sensor to an additional Pacific Rim battery manufacturer.
The battery expansion sensor, (BXS), is an important safety feature and was created to prevent thermal runaway—how most battery fires occur. The battery expansion sensor can detect a swollen battery and take appropriate action, effectively shutting it down and sending a notice to the user that the battery is no longer safe. It is designed to detect the dangerous expansion and stop a Lithium ion or Lithium polymer battery from charging or discharging. This Flexpoint BXS sensor is becoming a viable solution for manufacturing for many devices at low cost

Flexpoint Announces Additional Advancement in Pill Pack for Opioid
Tracking Solution

As recently announced, this integration of the pill pack with the new wireless communication protocols will make the tracking method less costly and easier to use. The Blister Pack featuring the Flexpoint Bend Sensor® will facilitate the monitoring and tracking of patients’ use of pharmaceuticals, and in particular, opioids, by medical professionals, insurance providers and authorities in real-time.
